About the event

At just 25, Adam Lockwood has become one of the world's most daring urban free solo climbers, scaling some of the planet's most iconic skyscrapers without ropes or safety equipment. But behind the headlines and breathtaking images lies a deeply human story of adversity, identity and finding purpose against the odds.

This sessions offers an exclusive insight into Adam's remarkable journey, brought to life through stories and the significant excerpts from the documentary on his life, centred on his climb and base jump from the Eiffel Tower - Skyclimber: Scaling the Eiffel Tower.

This session will go beyond the viral moments to discover the experiences that shaped him, from a difficult childhood and struggles with belonging, to climbing London's Shard, spending time in prison, and ultimately finding a new direction through adventure.

Adam shares what it feels like to stand hundreds of metres above the ground with nothing but complete focus separating success from disaster, exploring the psychology of fear, calculated risk and absolute presence. Alongside the extraordinary climbs, he reflects on the importance of resilience, mental health and why he is now committed to using his platform to inspire young people to believe that their situation does not have to define their future.

An exploration of freedom, purpose and the extraordinary places that determination can take us, both in the world around us and within ourselves.
