About the event

Mike is a chef, speaker and adventurer based in Suffolk, UK. His most recent Greenland expedition saw him solo qajaq over 3000km up the west coast of Greenland eating purely an ancestral Inuit diet - only seal & fish, no vegetables of fruit for over 4 months with extensive medical testing before, during and after. Along the way he was truly immersed in his environment which is shaping his Following the amazing results Mike is now researching indigenous evolutionary diets to use as a guide for a better global food system. With a documentary out in 2025, his new project will see him travelling to more remote areas to put his 'eat your environment' philosophy to the test.
